We believe that the Bible, as given in the Old and New Covenants, is the inspired, authoritative, inerrant and infallible Word of God.
We believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The God of Israel is one (echad) who has revealed Himself to mankind as the triune God: Father in heaven, Son Yeshua HaMeshiach (Jesus the Messiah), and Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit). The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are co-eternal and co-equal.
We believe in the deity (fully God), incarnation and virgin birth (fully man), sinless and miraculous life, suffering and atoning death through the shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father and imminent and personal return of Adonai Yeshua HaMeshiach (Lord Jesus the Messiah).
We believe in the deity of Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit). The Spirit of God is active today convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, eternally seals and secures, baptizes and gifts the believer of Yeshua at the moment of salvation. We believe that at the moment of salvation the Holy Spirit imparts at least one spiritual gift to every believer for the purpose of edifying and equipping the body of Messiah. We believe that God sovereignly distributes spiritual gifts to believers and so attributing undue emphasis to any one particular gift can be divisive. We believe that God heals in accordance with His will. This may occur miraculously, medically, or naturally. Supernatural healing may occur in response to prayer and in accordance with God's sovereign will. However, physical healing cannot be claimed solely on the basis of the atonement. We believe that the filling of the Holy Spirit is the ongoing process of God to which we yield whereby He sanctifies us (sets apart) and brings forth the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that all people are born in sin and need to be saved from their sin. Salvation is solely by God's grace through faith apart from works. Anyone who repents of their sin and by faith trusts Messiah Yeshua as Lord and Savior is immediately saved and becomes a child of God. We also believe in divine election - that God chose and elected His people to salvation before the beginning of the ages. In a broader, corporate sense, this principle of election also applies to His earthly people Israel. At the same time, however, we believe the Scriptures emphasize the importance of our choices. The Greek grammar of the New Covenant makes it clear that we have a personal responsibility to respond to God’s election. Although we recognize there is great tension between divine election and human free will; we embrace that tension, believing it enables us to maintain a biblical balance between these two great truths.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost.
1. The saved will be resurrected to eternal life with God.
2. The lost will be resurrected to a painful and complete separation from God.
We believe the Body of Messiah is to be made up of Jewish and Gentile believers. Yeshua's death on the tree caused the two groups to become "echad" ("one"; a compound unity). Therefore, we believe in the spiritual unity of all believers. For Jewish believers, we believe the local Body of Messiah should provide a means of expressing our God-given Jewish identity that, in turn, provides a universal testimony of God's faithfulness. For the Gentile believer, the local congregation provides opportunities to discover and enjoy the Jewish roots of our faith and to identify with the Jewish community for the purpose of sharing the love of Messiah.
We believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of all believers in this age. We also believe in the Second Coming of Messiah Yeshua with His holy ones to rule and reign on the earth in the 1,000-year Messianic Kingdom. His Second Coming will be pre-millennial, personal and visible. We believe in the literal interpretation of the prophecies which foretell and assure Israel's future tribulation, regeneration and restoration as a nation. This helps to motivate us to holy living, heartfelt worship, committed service, diligent study of the Word of God, regular fellowship, and participation in water immersion (baptism; tevilah or mikveh) and the Lord's Supper.
We believe the Scriptures clearly show that the Law or the works of the Law justifies no one in the sight of God. Therefore, the Mosaic Law (Torah) should not be elevated to such an extreme that anyone believe it is necessary to follow the Law for salvation or sanctification. We believe in the New Covenant that Yeshua instituted through His death and resurrection. We recognize that believers of Yeshua in the New Covenant have liberty in worship of God and in our sanctification process. We also believe it is possible for New Covenant believers to fulfill the Law by loving and walking in the Spirit of God.
